Old Saturn
It often starts with a dream that I want to forget or am haunted by. It often comes with a problem, like the summer concrete patio project that has endured since the beginning of time. Old Saturn is a prose-poem that takes the form of a small book called a fascicle. Each stanza is a sequential narrative step accompanied by photographic images.
Sometimes a dream just won’t let go...I get intimate with a bronze god, go to Saturn along with Cassini, the NASA probe. We carve rings together into the stardust that circumnavigate this ancient planet. The dream turned into Old Saturn, 10 unique fascicles—different in size, cover design and materials, but sharing the same text. The concrete project continues to continue.
