Claudia founded WeLiveInTheWoods Press on Vashon Island in 2012. As a cross-disciplinary artist, she creates unique art-book editions that combine her book-arts skills and extensive visual language with her original poetry. Claudia also creates broadsides that illuminate her poems, usually in digital format.

The work is inspired by seasonal changes on the Island as well as life’s ironies, liminations, and humorous moments. Her work can be found at the New York Center for the Book, the University of Washington Special Collections Library, and Collins Library in Tacoma, Washington.
